HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR DENIM


WASH & CARE
Our denim is designed to last through seasons, so we have gathered some tips on how to Wash & Care for your denim to keep it looking its best;
- The longer you wear the denim the first time without washing it, the more it will adapt to your figure and be it's most flattering
- Wash less. You don’t need to wash denim often. This will make your denim last longer, and save water and money. Better for you, your denim, and the environment
- If stains appear, use a damp cloth with cold water and mild soap
- Ventilate in-between wears
- Wash preferably at 30 degrees or cold. This protects against fading and shrinking and saves energy
- Wash inside out to maintain color
- Dark-colored denim might transfer onto lighter colors. Make sure to wash inside out, alone, or with similar colors. To best maintain color, use detergent for colors.
- Please remove it from the washing machine as soon as possible after washing, to avoid creasing
- Use mild soap without bleaching agents
- Never use fabric softener
- We do not recommend tumble drying. One important reason for this is to save energy. Tumble drying gives the denim extra wear and tear and weakens the fibers
- To extend the life of your denim, we recommend you line dry inside out
- Avoid using iron as heat can weaken the fibers
- Sunlight can cause denim to fade and lose its color so do not dry it in direct sunlight
- As a general rule, follow the care recommendations on the product’s care label, as it can vary from product to product
- Do not pull in belt loops! This a weak point and it might break
